Supports UHS-I & UHS-II SD Cards
All versions of HyperDeck Mini have the capability to record to standard SD and UHS-II cards, which helps eliminate the requirement for expensive specialized media. When using H.264, the file sizes are extremely small, allowing for extended recordings even on affordable cards. In addition, it is possible to save your recordings to external USB drives for added convenience. With a 1 TB card, you have the capacity to capture an impressive 58 hours of footage in stunning 2160p60 Ultra HD resolution. Alternatively, you can record a whopping 157 hours of content in 1080p59.94 with H.265 compression using H.264 technology. With a storage capacity of 1 TB, you can record high-definition videos for approximately 6 consecutive days.

Files in ProRes, DNx, H.264, and H.265
HyperDeck is a versatile solution that offers extensive support for the most popular codecs currently in use. All models come with the inclusion of DNx and ProRes file formats. When capturing footage in NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080p, and true 1080i interlaced formats, all models are capable of supporting H.264 with high-quality levels up to full 10-bit 4:2:2. In addition, when you upload files to YouTube, you can choose between uncompressed PCM audio or AAC audio formats. All versions of the system support ExFAT and HFS+ disk formats, along with the capability to perform long-duration single-file recordings.

Nonstop recording with dual slots
Continuous recording is made possible on all versions of HyperDeck with the inclusion of standard dual media slots. When the recording card reaches its maximum capacity, the recording seamlessly transitions to the next card without any manual intervention. This feature is perfect for capturing extended live events as it allows for seamless card swapping, enabling continuous recording in one slot while the other slot is being replaced with an empty card. The status indicator in each slot shows the card in use, with red indicating recording and green indicating playback. Furthermore, all models now possess the capability to efficiently record and store substantial files as a single file, facilitating seamless file transfer. The HyperDeck Studio features individual PCB assemblies for each card slot, allowing for easy replacement in case of wear and tear caused by extensive usage.

External USB-C Media Disks for Recording
To expand your recording capabilities to different media formats, you can utilize the USB-C extension connector for seamless connection with an external flash drive. USB-C flash drives offer a larger physical size compared to SD cards or SSDs, resulting in a seemingly limitless storage capacity. Moreover, you have the option to save your recordings to a disk array, which can be utilized for editing purposes. This eliminates the unnecessary step of having to spend time copying data before commencing post-production. Easily connect the disk to your computer and start editing immediately! To enhance compatibility with SSD media, consider utilizing the Blackmagic MultiDock 10G. This remarkable device features four separate SSD media slots, allowing seamless integration with both the HyperDeck Studio Mini and Plus versions. The built-in LCD offers convenient options for managing external drives.

Animation Fill and Key Outputs
To enhance your recording capabilities across various media formats, you can leverage the USB-C extension connector for effortless connectivity with an external flash drive. USB-C flash drives provide a greater physical dimension in comparison to SD cards or SSDs, leading to an appearance of boundless storage capacity. Additionally, you have the opportunity to save your recordings to a disk array, which can be used for editing purposes. This streamlines the workflow by eliminating the need to manually copy data before starting post-production. Effortlessly establish a connection between the disk and your computer for instant editing capabilities! To optimize compatibility with SSD media, it is recommended to use the Blackmagic MultiDock 10G.
